The IT competence Centre shall implement the project “information and Communication Technology competence Centre” in accordance with contract No 1.2.1.1/18/A/003 concluded with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency on 9 May 2019.
The project continues the implementation of all approved studies in the third quarter of 2020 and launches the implementation of one new study. A fifth request for payment has been prepared and submitted, and meetings of both the heads of scientific directions and the Council are regularly held, during which the progress of the studies implemented and the results achieved are examined. By reducing the chances of contracting COVID-19, meetings were mostly held entirely or partially remotely. The complications caused by COVID-19 have had an impact on the timelines for research in some cases, but overall, the implementation of the research has not been significantly affected.
Study 1.12 “Multiobsite detection and TRACKING for monitoring vehicle traffic” of SIA “WeAreDots” and SIA ZTF “Space”: 3D-LIDAR and camera data combining 'launched in April 2020. in the third quarter of 2020, the implementation of the first activity of the industrial study, LIDAR-type scanners performance study and the characterisation of the factors affecting them, and the experimental development activity, LIDAR-type scanners start-up, shall be continued.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the competence centres of Action 1.2.1.1 “support for the Development of New products and technologies” of the specific support objective 1.2.1 “increase private sector investments in R & D”.
