SENECA energy counters with MID certificate

SENECA energy counters with MID certificate-0

Due to the fact that many companies have energy counting , i.e. commercial accounting, we offer to use our partner's SENECA counters with the MID certificate.

What benefit does the MID certificate have?

  • No verification and registration required
  • No additional costs
  • Period of validity - 12 years from the time of production

Electricity meters produced by MID Directive 2014/32/ES must be labelled:

  • CE marking, rectangle with letter M
  • last 2 digits of the production year
  • a four-digit combination identifying the institution which performed the test.

In the Republic of Latvia, these electricity meters shall be valid for 12 years after the year of production. At the end of the period, they may not be used for commercial accounting for the electricity consumed.
