SIA zinātniski tehniskā firma “LĀSMA” participates in the Rehabilitation Fund project no. 5.1.1.2.i.0/3/24/A/CFLA/005 “Latvian Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry Cluster”. The aim of the project is to support the internationalization of Latvian electrical engineering and electronics industry cluster members and to increase private investments in research and development. The Scientific and Technical Company "LĀSMA" was founded on 27 May 1992. The company was founded by Dr.sc.ing. Jānis Kuzmins, Uģis Ivbulis, Andris Jansons.

The initial goal was to develop electronic devices for the implementation of automation in manufacturing companies.

Service - the development of non-standard process automation solutions, which in the relevant time period also meant the development and production of the corresponding electronics.

Over time, the role of research and electronics development decreased, however, the experience and knowledge gained in research allowed for the development of a strong direction of automation process design and solution development.

It is this long-term, constant development of competence in the industrial automation industry that is one of the main reasons why many leading manufacturers of automation solutions and components choose ZTF Lāsma as a representative in Latvia and the Baltics.

There is no future without engineers!

As in the past, LĀSMA maintains close links with RTU and other institutions where engineering can be studied. Each year, we give several students the opportunity to get an internship to learn about good working culture and world-class automation solutions.

LASMA supports various events and proposes new ideas for cooperation. The motivation for this collaboration is simple - everyone at LĀSMA believes that without engineers there is no future!
