The heat meter UH50-A.. or the combined heat/cold meter UH50-C. measures the volume flow statically by means of an ultrasonic measuring principle and is a measuring device for the physically correct recording of energy consumption. The amount of heat and cold is recorded separately and can be read out locally or via remote query. The device consists of a flow measuring unit and a calculator. The calculator is already equipped with two sensors, which can be replaced if necessary. The device is delivered without a power supply and without a communication module as standard. These must be ordered separately and used on site. The UH50.. is used for heat consumption measurement in local and district heating networks as well as in apartment buildings. It is also suitable for cold measurement (alone or combined with heat quantity measurement) or for pure flow measurement in systems with water. The UH50.. must not be used to measure drinking water. It is not suitable for systems with water-glycol mixtures. Please note that national approvals for the billing of cooling energy may have to be considered for combined heating/cooling energy meters. Additional information Calculator type: Split unit with a hardwired control cable of 3 m. Connection sensor: The sensors can be replaced, Return sensor is not integrated in the volume measuring part.
