Today, Mayser's product range is quite extensive, but the technology used in them is very simple - essentially, they are all switches, where physical pressure on the surface either creates or breaks contact. They are used to protect both people from the potential risks that the equipment may pose and to reduce the risk of damage to the equipment itself.
