In 2024, Invertek Drives took part in the Milan Motor Show from 12 to 15 March and presented new products - more powerful frequency converters. The upgraded models of the Optidrive Coolvert series were presented at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2024. The new expanded Optidrive Coolvert series from Invertek Drives has an even greater power range, available in three compact frame sizes up to 58 A.

Invertek's Optidrive Coolvert series of frequency converters is specifically designed for BLDC compressors, heat pumps and condensing units (CDUs). They enable manufacturers of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration or HVAC-R equipment to achieve optimum system performance in a compact environment. It is important to mention that the new frequency converters are compatible with A2L, A3 chillers and CO2, including R290 and R744 natural refrigerants that support F-Gas regulations.

The new models of these frequency converters are designed with enclosures that significantly reduce installation space. He also highlights that the new Coolvert dimensions allow for optimised system design and efficiency, while meeting changing global environmental and emissions regulations, such as the latest F-Gas requirements in the European Union. The smaller size of the frequency converters is particularly valuable in locations where space is limited, and the extended power range opens the door to new possibilities.
In addition to the OEM benefits, Coolvert frequency converters are ideally suited for a wide range of industries where energy efficient and environmentally friendly HVAC-R technologies are increasingly in demand.
