ELK Motor is a Turkish company that manufactures asynchronous electric motors in various frame sizes. All electric motor series are developed in accordance with European standards. The production is carried out in efficiency classes IE4, IE3, and IE2. ELK Motor's electric motor production is carried out on a very large area exceeding 135,000 square meters. The name of this factory is "Çerkezköy," located in the northwestern part of Turkey. The factory encompasses the entire production development cycle, starting from engineering research and development phases, through metal shaping, casting, sheet metal processing, and tinning.
Fully automated CNC machines manufacture shafts, covers, and casings. The shapes of the rotor and stator are molded using automatic lamination molds. They are then placed in injection/molding machines, which create groups of shafts. The winding process occurs automatically with the help of winding equipment. After winding, vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) is used for insulation. After all these procedures, each electric motor is 100% inspected according to regulations. ELK Motor's quality system is certified with ISO 9001, and the products are UL certified. It's worth emphasizing that the frame sizes of the electric motors range from 63 to 315 IEC, which is one of the company's main advantages.
