Energy efficiency lies in the small things. Inadequate or insufficient air supply requires a significant amount of energy resources. At the same time, by using suitable equipment, it is possible to prevent unnecessary energy consumption. In this article, we offer you an energy-efficient solution that can prevent filter clogging in ventilation systems, wood material dryers, and many other applications. The differential pressure sensor from E+E is the right key to energy savings.
E+E Electronics sensors are characterized by high quality, long-term stability, and mechanical durability. Professionals who value sensor reliability, measurement accuracy, and longevity in the most challenging working conditions choose sensors of this class.
Differential pressure sensors can be used for all non-combustible and non-aggressive gases. They utilize a Piezoresistive pressure sensor element, which ensures excellent long-term stability. The sensor measures even minimal pressure differences, completely isolating the pressure environments from each other, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination.
EE600 is available with a full scale (FS) of 1000 Pa (4 inches of water column) and 10,000 Pa (40 inches WC). It offers excellent ± 0.5% FS accuracy. Versions with analog outputs and DIP switches allow for selecting multiple measurement ranges. The Piezoresistive pressure sensor element ensures highly precise and stable long-term measurements.
EE610 offers ± 0.5 Pa accuracy across the measurement range. Versions with analog outputs allow for configuring measurement ranges of ± 25 / ± 50 / ± 100 Pa and 0...100 Pa. The piezoresistive, flow-independent pressure sensor element provides a separated environment.
Sensors are available with analog voltage and current outputs. These sensors are also available with an RS485 interface using Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP protocol.
The IP65/NEMA 4 housing reduces installation costs. External mounting holes allow for installation with a closed lid, protecting the electrical components from construction site pollution.
Setting and adjustment can be easily done using DIP switches and buttons on the electronics panel (EE600 with analog outputs). The sensor configuration can also be conveniently performed using an additional adapter and the free EE-PCS configuration software (EE600 with RS485 interface). Configuration includes pressure range, output signal, response time, display units, and backlight. In addition to differential pressure measurement, EE600 can be set for volume flow or air velocity measurement, as well as filter monitoring or level indication.
