Industrial and IT networks - both provide communication, work hand in hand and take care of the stability of the production process and data exchange at all levels of the communication architecture. As you continue reading this article, you will learn how to create handy architecture with SENECA Z-KEY.

The SENECA Z-KEY-WiFi Gateway with WiFi, Ethernet and two serial communication ports allows you to create an ingenious communication architectures.

2 Serial port connections will allow you to flexibly use RS232 and RS485 devices in both: Slave and Master modes and save data to the Z-KEY server.  PLC and HMI connected to the Ethernet port will be able to read your Modbus RTU /ASCII devices and be accessible to the RS Master device. WiFi will help to create a bridge between  industrial  and IT/IOT environments with ease. What further enables IT specialists to collect, analyse and visualize data according to IOT canons
