Already the third Automation Day has passed, and we are truly pleased with everyone who found the time to participate in this event.
This time we met at Riga Shooting Center , where the day combined professional presentations, product novelty demonstrations, discussions with customers and partners, lunch outdoors, and also friendly shooting competitions.
The main theme of the event was temperature control and management solutions in industrial production. Both heat and cold in production processes can be significant challenging factors, so their precise control is important for safety, efficiency, and quality.
In the first part of the day, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with presentations by LĀSMA, Rittal, Siemens and Hikmicro presentations. The partners shared news, practical examples, and solutions that help companies improve production processes, equipment management, and technical supervision in everyday operations.
The Rittal presentation focused on ventilation, cooling and heating solutions in control cabinets, providing information about the main product categories and selection principles.
Participants were also introduced to the upcoming changes in the refrigeration equipment market related to F-gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573 , which is aimed at the gradual reduction of HFC or hydrofluorocarbons.
In the practical part, customers were introduced to Rittal digital tools for selecting the most suitable products:
Siemens introduced building management solutions for industrial buildings, highlighting both the possibility of creating an individual internal monitoring system in a modular way and using Siemens centralized accounting and visualization solutions.
Since minimum energy-efficiency requirements for building automation and remote monitoring have already been introduced in Latvian and European Union regulations, industrial facilities also have a defined development course to achieve by 2050 a decarbonized, zero-emission building stock.
Hikmicro demonstrated thermal cameras capabilities and their application in the industrial environment. Participants were introduced both to portable thermal camera series and to the possibilities of integrating stationary thermal cameras into production process monitoring and other applications in industrial facilities.
Meanwhile, the LĀSMA team shared experience and product range in the field of temperature sensors, control equipment and actuators. We also shared our experience in SCADA system development, creation of centralized temperature monitoring systems and the most interesting projects in heat recovery and electricity saving.
During the event, practical questions, discussions and conversations about specific projects were also not lacking. This exchange of experience is one of the greatest values of such events — the opportunity to meet in person, ask questions and together look for the most suitable solutions.
After the official program, we continued the day in a more informal atmosphere — with lunch, coffee breaks and conversations outdoors. At the end of the day, participants had the opportunity to test their accuracy in the shooting competition, which added extra energy and a friendly spirit of competition to the event.
A big thank you to all customers, partners and colleagues for participating, asking questions and actively engaging. We were pleased to spend a valuable, practical and inspiring day together.
