SENECA extends the range of strain gauge load cell converters with Z-SG2.
With 3-Way insulation up to 1.500 Vac, a load cell sensitivity from 1 to 64 mV/V and an accuracy class of 0.01%, this converter allows the reading of the measurement through ModBUS RTU serial protocol or through the analog output.
Z-SG2 integrates advanced functions such as part counting, automatic tare reset, threshold alarm, and flexible measurement management: measurements available both in INT and floating-point, measurements stabilized through noise filter, a configurable resolution, and min/max net weight values.
Z-SG2 is a load cell converter (strain gauge). The measurement carried out with the 4 or 6-wire technique, is available via ModBUS RTU serial protocol or via the analog output. The strain gauge can be directly powered by the instrument. The load cell calibration is managed by EASY SETUP software in the factory calibration or sample weight mode. Z-SG2 is equipped with ESD discharge protection up to 4 kV.
Z-SG2 differs from the Z-SG version for advanced functions (piece counter, automatic tare reset, threshold alarm, firmware automatically updatable) and flexible measurement management mode (measurements available both in full and floating-point, measurement stabilized through noise filter, configurable resolution). The configuration is via software, while baud rate and ModBUS address via DIP-switch.
